Points will be given to determine the drivers that will represent MCIR at the IHRA Division 5 Thunder Bracket World Finals in Martin, Mi September 16-20,2009 being ran ¼ mile this year. MCIR will be sending a team comprised of 50 racers. We will guarantee to take at least 12 Pro, 12 Modified, 8 Street, 4 Bike, and 6 juniors. This leaves 8 remaining spots, which will be determined upon number of members and entries in each class. At the Bracket Finals there will be a Summit Super Series Box Champion, and No Box Champion. Make sure you call IHRA to signup!

Points will start the day you sign up. This has to be done prior to the start of the first round of eliminations so it can be registered in the computer. If you fail to make first round, points will start the following week. Points will start May 9th for Jrs , and for Bracket Cars. We will be taking the top 12 Pro, 12 Modified, 8 Street, and 4 bikes; must attend 12 races to be eligible for run-off. The overall point’s leader in each bracket will be their bracket champion and automatically be in the Track Champion Runoff. The remaining 11 pro, 11 mod, 7 street, and 3 bikes will runoff in the bracket runoff. The winner of the bracket runoff along with the 4 bracket champs will runoff for the Track Champion. Winner of this race will be the Track Champion. Winner of bracket runoff will receive a $20.00 Gold Card and Runner-up $10.00 Gold Card.
