MCIR is very excited about their Junior Dragster Program. The Program allows kids from the ages 8-17 to suit up, buckle up and hang on!!! These kids race just like the legends you’ve seen on TV, and of course just like their parents. How exciting it would be to be 8 years old and go flying down a drag strip, and the only thing in front of you is the checkered flag. These kids race their peers in near replicas of the models the pro’s drive. These thrill-seeking kids are restricted to competition in half-scale cars over a distance of a 1/8 mile.

Come out and support the future Drag Racers of tomorrow and at the same time feel the excitement when these dragsters fire up and roll down the track, to the finish.

*BEGINNER Ages 8-9, ET restricted to 12.90 seconds or slower based on either dial your own ET or heads-up. Breakout rules apply.

*ADVANCED Ages 10-17, Modified engines meeting IHRA rules accepted Class-Based on either dial your own ET or heads-up Pro Start. ET restricted to 8.90 or slower.

*FLAG It is mandatory that a florescent or brightly colored flag be attached to any junior dragster while being towed. Flag must be a minimum of five feet in height. Juniors must be towed between ET shack, pit and staging lanes.
