What's New for 2008

Marion County International Raceway built by the Guthery family is still owned and operated by the family (see Inside MCIR). Nestled in the countryside of central Ohio 3 miles south of La Rue, MCIR offers fans the opportunity to participate in the thrill of professional and sportsman drag racing every weekend from April through October.

Three Generations of Smoke, Fire, and Excitement that is what MCIR is all about. The Smoke off your favorite car as it does a burn out and gets ready to stage. The Fire breathing Jet Semi sending fire 30 feet or better as he hits the thrust of the engine right before he launches off the line and runs 200+MPH, or the Excitement you feel just being part of the whole show. That is what we are all about putting excitement back into your life with the whole family.
